Hi, I’m Racquel

I hold a PhD in Computer Science from Northeastern University, where I conducted research in Data Visualization under the advisement of Dr. Enrico Bertini and Dr. Lace Padilla. My research examines how varying visualizations’ design affects readers’ understanding of information, including general uncertainty, their personal risks, and their medical history.

I specialize in quantitative methods for large-scale human-subject studies, and am partial to Bayesian analysis methods, addressing evidenced problems, and very pretty scientific figures.
